Well that’s another season down for us at BSU HQ. We couldn’t be more chuffed with all the artists who have passed through Wire over the last few months and thrown down some unbelievably slick selections for you all. We’ve got one more party in the bag though and it’s an absolute pleasure to invite some serious hot property along for the ride…introducing CALL SUPER.
The Berlin-based Londoner has been the talk of the town over the last couple of years with his debut album on Fabric offshoot Houndstooth, ‘Suzi Ecto’, providing a serious stepping stone to launch himself deep in to the electronic music landscape with untold amounts of praise from the likes of Pitchfork, XLR8R, RA and FACT. With releases on Dekmantel, The Trilogy Tapes (under his Ondo Fudd/Elmo Crumb monikers) and a choice selection on the esteemed Fabric CD series, he’s fast becoming one of the modern day electronic visionaries.
With an ear for hunting out rarities across the board, Call Super’s sets have become widely regarded as some of the most uniquely hypnotic experiences the world over with an array of styles covered. We’ve managed to lock in four hours of digging deep through his collection to close out a superb season.Time:23:00 - 06:00
